Leipzig, 31/08/22. With Pecunia 7, ALVARA | Digital Solutions has taken the solution for cash processing to a new level as a cloud application that efficiently supports financial institutions and cash-in-transit service providers in their day-to-day business. The Group is thereby responding to the growing demand for solutions that help make cash management, which is becoming increasingly expensive, more cost-effective. Cost pressures, regulatory requirements, a dynamic market environment, and individual customer preferences pose considerable challenges for many professional cash handlers, such as banks.
“Digital solutions have been speaking about greater efficiency and security for a long time – also in cash management. With Pecunia 7, we have now specifically evolved our previous Pecunia solution in order to proactively meet the future requirements such as KRITIS, MaRisk, BAIT on the basis of an SaaS solution. The result is a cloud solution that supports all cash handling processes,” explains ALVARA | Digital Solutions Managing Director Steven Schwarznau. Further advantages arise when combing with ALVARA ICC (ALVARA Interactive Cash Control), the platform for digitizing the customer relationship. The Bundesbank-certified ICC customer platform including the app also enables, among other things, more efficient electronic exchange with the Bundesbank – such as in the form of Bundesbank cash recycling, CashEDI (Cash Electronic Data Interchange) or the digital provision of the Bundesbank’s difference protocols.
“Pecunia 7 impresses with its cost efficiency, transparency and simplicity in cash management,” says ALVARA | Digital Solutions Managing Director Dr. Lutz Anderie. Streamlined and cloud-based cash processing allows financial institutions and value-added service providers to reduce their IT infrastructure costs. In addition to this, billing can be based on flat-rate usage fees that can be calculated. Pecunia 7 creates maximum transparency through comprehensive process protocols, complete traceability and customer-oriented application packages. At the same time – as is typically the case with solutions from ALVARA | Digital Solutions – intuitive usability makes it easy for user to apply and use the solution.
Pecunia has been successfully used by well-known cash-in-transit- service providers and banks for over 25 years. The modular software supports all areas of handling cash, foreign currency, and securities – from counting to transports and documented liability transfers to settlements. The further development towards Pecunia 7 continues the product’s success story.
ALVARA will present the solution centered on Pecunia 7 to a professional audience for the first time at CashCon in Leipzig (September 7-8, 2022). This year, CashCon will once again be an important platform for dialog for all players in the cash industry. A successful concept combines the transfer of knowledge and product presentations. Selected experts will report on the latest developments and present best practices as well as innovations. For participants, the discussions with other market participants on site will be a great benefit.
